Connecticut dominated UAB in a 38-19 blowout, racing to a commanding 24-0 halftime lead behind quarterback Joe Fagnano's masterful performance. Fagnano connected with Skyler Bell for three touchdowns, including a pair of scoring strikes in the first half and a 39-yarder in the third quarter. The Blazers finally showed signs of life late, with Brandon Hawkins Jr. scoring on a 68-yard reception and a 32-yard run, but the Huskies' early onslaught proved too much to overcome.
