Recap

Michigan escaped with a dramatic 24-22 victory over Northwestern at Wrigley Field, winning on Dominic Zvada's walk-off 31-yard field goal as time expired. The Wolverines built a 21-9 lead behind Jordan Marshall's two touchdown runs, but the Wildcats stormed back in the fourth quarter with consecutive touchdowns to take a stunning 22-21 advantage. Northwestern's failed two-point conversion after taking the lead ultimately proved costly as Michigan drove for the game-winning field goal in the final minutes.
