Recap

Rice secured a road victory with a 28-17 win over Charlotte at Jerry Richardson Stadium, powered by Chase Jenkins' dual-threat performance including a 34-yard touchdown run. Daelen Alexander contributed two rushing touchdowns for the Owls, who built a commanding 28-9 lead early in the fourth quarter. Despite a late touchdown pass from Grayson Loftis to Javen Nicholas and successful two-point conversion, the 49ers couldn't overcome Rice's balanced offensive attack.
