Recap

Texas Tech dominated Kent State in a 62-14 blowout, with quarterback Behren Morton throwing for three touchdowns including two to Reggie Virgil. The Red Raiders built an overwhelming 48-0 halftime lead, highlighted by Cameron Dickey's two rushing touchdowns and Skyler Gill-Howard's 55-yard interception return. Kent State finally broke through with two fourth-quarter touchdowns from Dru DeShields, but it was far too late as Texas Tech's offensive firepower proved unstoppable at Jones AT&T Stadium.
