Recap

TCU jumped out to an early lead and never looked back, securing a 23-17 road victory over West Virginia at Milan Puskar Stadium. The Horned Frogs built a 20-7 halftime advantage behind Trent Battle's rushing touchdown and Josh Hoover's scoring strike to Eric McAlister. Despite a late surge from the Mountaineers, highlighted by Scotty Fox Jr.'s second touchdown pass of the day to Jeff Weimer with 3:15 remaining, TCU's defense held firm to preserve the win.
