Hawaii handled Portland State with ease in a 23-3 victory at the Ching Athletics Complex, powered by quarterback Luke Weaver's two touchdown passes to Cam Barfield in the second quarter. The Rainbow Warriors' defense completely stifled the Vikings, who managed just a lone field goal in the third quarter. Kicker Kansei Matsuzawa provided the finishing touches with three field goals, including two in the fourth quarter to seal the comfortable home win.
