Navy dominated VMI in a 52-7 rout, scoring touchdowns on six different rushing plays while quarterback Blake Horvath connected with Eli Heidenreich for an 18-yard score. The Midshipmen built a commanding 28-0 halftime lead before Braxton Woodson electrified the crowd with back-to-back explosive touchdown runs of 74 and 68 yards in the second half. VMI's lone bright spot came on a 75-yard touchdown pass from Collin Shannon to Owen Sweeney in the third quarter.
