Recap

New Mexico held off a late Nevada rally to secure a gritty 24-22 home victory at University Stadium. The Lobos' ground game proved unstoppable as D.J. McKinney found the end zone twice, including a 22-yard touchdown dash to open the third quarter. Despite Caleb Ramseur's two rushing touchdowns for the Wolf Pack, Luke Drzewiecki's field goal to end the third quarter provided the crucial cushion that withstood Nevada's fourth-quarter comeback attempt.
