Recap

The Houston Cougars defended home turf at TDECU Stadium, grinding out a 27-17 victory over the UCF Knights in a Big 12 battle. Houston controlled the pace through 192 plays of hard-nosed football, building a cushion that UCF couldn't overcome despite their efforts to rally. The Cougars' 10-point margin tells the story of a team that executed when it mattered most. Houston's defense stepped up in crucial moments to protect the lead, while the offense did enough to keep the Knights at arm's length. It's a statement win for the Cougars in conference play, proving they can handle business when the lights are brightest at home.
