Recap

Georgia Southern pulled off a gritty 31-24 road victory at Brooks Stadium, handing Coastal Carolina a tough Sun Belt loss in Conway. The Eagles controlled the tempo through 182 plays of hard-fought football, finding ways to answer every Chanticleer challenge. When the final whistle blew, Georgia Southern had done enough to escape with seven points to spare. The Chanticleers battled until the end, keeping things competitive at home, but couldn't quite find the spark needed to overcome the Eagles' balanced attack. Georgia Southern's ability to execute in crucial moments proved to be the difference, as they walked out of Brooks Stadium with a statement conference win on the road.
