Delaware vs Virginia

Virginia absolutely dominated Delaware in a 42-3 blowout at Scott Stadium, with the Cavaliers controlling every phase of the game. The Atlantic Coast squad jumped out early and never looked back, building an insurmountable lead against the Conference USA visitors. The Fightin' Blue Hens managed just a field goal against a stifling Virginia defense that made life miserable all afternoon. The Cavaliers' offense fired on all cylinders in Charlottesville, putting up six touchdowns while their defense pitched what was essentially a shutout performance. Delaware had no answers for Virginia's balanced attack across 194 plays of total domination. This was a statement win for the Cavaliers, who sent their fans home happy with a comprehensive beatdown that was never in doubt.
