Recap

Florida State delivered a dominant Atlantic Coast performance at Bobby Bowden Field at Doak Campbell Stadium, crushing Virginia 38-7 in a statement win. The Seminoles controlled this one from start to finish, building an insurmountable lead while their defense stifled the Cavaliers' offense at every turn. Virginia had no answers in Tallahassee as Florida State's balanced attack and suffocating defense made this 190-play contest feel decided early. The Seminoles improved their conference standing with this commanding victory, while the Cavaliers head home searching for solutions after getting overwhelmed in all phases. When Florida State plays like this, they're a force to be reckoned with in the ACC.
