Recap

Liberty rolled into Brooks Stadium and dominated from start to finish, handing Coastal Carolina a decisive 34-17 defeat. The Flames controlled the tempo throughout, building a commanding lead that the Chanticleers could never seriously threaten. In a matchup featuring 193 plays of back-and-forth action, Liberty's efficiency stood out against a Coastal Carolina squad that struggled to find its rhythm on home turf. The loss stings for the Chanticleers, who couldn't generate enough firepower to keep pace with a confident Liberty team. The Flames' balanced attack proved too much to handle, as they cruised to victory in Conway and sent their fans home happy with a convincing Conference USA road win over their Sun Belt opponent.
