UCLA's dominance was on full display in the Sacramento Regional Semifinal, as the No. 1 seed Bruins throttled Minnesota 80-56. The Bruins controlled the tempo from the opening tip, rattling off a 10-2 run early before extending their advantage with a devastating 12-2 run in the second quarter that pushed their lead to 42-29. By halftime, UCLA had already established complete control and never looked back. Minnesota simply couldn't find an offensive rhythm, suffering through a brutal 52-play scoring drought in the first period. The Golden Gophers' comeback hopes were quickly extinguished as UCLA kept their foot on the gas, unleashing a 9-2 run in the third quarter to balloon their lead to 17. The Bruins' suffocating defense held Minnesota to just 56 points, while late-game daggers from Sienna Betts and a three-pointer from Christina Karamouzi sealed the blowout. UCLA advances with a commanding 24-point victory.
