Jayden Gray brings veteran edge and disruptive burst to WKU’s front seven
In the 2025 season, Western Kentucky DL Jayden Gray gave the Hilltoppers real rotational value, appearing in 12 games with 18 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, 1 sack, and 3 QB hurries, plus his best outing came with 3 tackles, 2 TFLs, and a sack against Sam Houston. He’s a seasoned, transfer-tested defender at 6-2 and about 260-276 pounds, with length, strength, and enough burst to threaten the pocket. The bigger appeal is his experience and “ready-now” feel: a steady, physical presence who fits as a dependable, disruptive piece rather than a flashy stat-stuffer.
