WKU’s big-bodied, battle-tested left tackle is a plug-and-play veteran
Jemeil Jackson enters the 2026 season as a redshirt senior left tackle for Western Kentucky, bringing real pass-protection experience, proven leadership, and a long résumé across Central Michigan and Fort Valley State. In 2024, he played in three games with two starts at left tackle before an injury slowed him, but his earlier production stands out: he was a two-time All-CCA All-South Region pick, a 2023 first-team all-region selection, and a team captain at Fort Valley State. At 6-4, 292, he looks like a dependable, physical fit for a team that values toughness and maturity.
