Falelua Moalele is a long, high-upside Hawaii trench piece with Polynesian pipeline roots
In his 2025 freshman season and heading into 2026, Falelua Moalele looks like a developmental defensive lineman with intriguing frame upside at 6-5 and roughly 245-260 pounds, depending on the source. He arrived from Liberty High in Las Vegas after starring at Tafuna in American Samoa, where he helped power three straight titles and earned all-star recognition, so the DNA is clearly there. What makes him interesting is the size-to-ceiling combination and Hawai'i's confidence in his fit as a future impact DL; the question is whether he can add power and polish fast enough to turn raw traits into snap-worthy production.
