In the 2025 season, Nick Mazzie was East Carolina’s primary placekicker and delivered a strong, low-drama profile: 16-of-19 on field goals, a perfect 43-of-43 on PATs, and a team-high 91 points in 12 games.[10] His differentiator is consistency from all distance bands—perfect on kicks from 30-39 and 40-49 yards, plus one make from 50-plus—and he also gives value on kickoffs, with a 54.5-yard average in 2025.[10] At 6-foot-2 and 228 pounds, he has a bigger build than your typical kicker, plus proven production at New Hampshire before transferring to ECU.[1][10]
