Recap

Kent State mounted a thrilling fourth quarter comeback to stun Northern Illinois 35-31, scoring 15 unanswered points in the final 10 minutes. Despite the Huskies building a 31-20 lead early in the fourth quarter behind Jalen Macon's two rushing touchdowns and Chavon Wright's pair of scores, the Golden Flashes refused to quit. Cade Wolford's 31-yard touchdown run and Gavin Garcia's 26-yard game-winning dash with just 4:11 remaining capped a wild contest that featured five lead changes at Huskie Stadium.
