Texas Tech dominated from the opening kickoff, shutting out Oklahoma State 42-0 in a complete dismantling at Jones AT&T Stadium. J'Koby Williams electrified the crowd with a 99-yard kick return touchdown to start the game, then added a 26-yard touchdown reception minutes later as the Red Raiders raced to a 29-0 first quarter lead. The defense joined the scoring party with Jacob Rodriguez's 69-yard fumble return touchdown, while quarterback Mitch Griffis added two second-half scores to cap the rout.
