Recap

The Troy Trojans put on an offensive clinic at Larry Blakeney Field, overwhelming Southern Miss 55-34 in a high-scoring Sun Belt showdown. Troy's attack was relentless from start to finish, piling up points and never letting the Golden Eagles gain any momentum despite their own respectable offensive output. Southern Miss fought hard and found the end zone multiple times, but they simply couldn't keep pace with the Trojans' explosive performance. Troy's 55 points showcased a dominant home stand, turning what could have been a competitive conference battle into a statement victory that sends a clear message to the rest of the Sun Belt.
