Recap

The FIU Panthers dominated their Conference USA clash against New Mexico State, cruising to a commanding 22-3 victory at South Dade Kia Field at Pitbull Stadium. The Panthers' defense was absolutely relentless, holding the Aggies to just a field goal while controlling the tempo throughout the contest in Miami. FIU's balanced attack and suffocating defensive effort proved too much for New Mexico State to overcome. The Panthers capitalized on their opportunities and never let the Aggies find any rhythm offensively, making a statement in conference play. This was a total team performance that had the home crowd celebrating from start to finish.
