Depth linebacker with size, but little recent production
Octavious Baxter is a 6-foot-2, 205-pound linebacker at Jacksonville State whose profile shows promise more than proven on-field impact: the available team roster lists him as a freshman/redshirt freshman, and the program’s historical records show no season statistics for him, so there’s no current production to cite. His value case is all about frame, developmental upside, and special-teams/rotation potential rather than headline numbers. If you’re looking for an immediate stat-sheet disruptor, he’s not that yet; if you want a young, moldable defender with room to grow, he’s a name worth monitoring.
