A durable Notre Dame back with real North–South burst
Jeff Jenkins was a hard-running Notre Dame back known for finishing plays and handling contact well; in the 2004 season he logged 9 carries for 43 yards, and in the 2005 season he added 19 carries for 56 yards[10]. His high school profile points to a productive, workhorse-style runner who piled up 1,427 rushing yards and 21 touchdowns as a senior, plus 2,900+ career rushing yards[3]. He looks like a fit for teams that value toughness, reliable ball security, and a physical mentality more than pure flash—basically, the guy you’d trust to move the chains when the lights get annoying.
